Inspired by the events of the 2001 'Indigo' club tragedy in Sofia and similar recent cases in Europe, a raw, distinctly female portrayal of adolescent friendship, the intensity of girlhood and the heartbreak of bonds that fall apart, set against the social realities of 2000s post-socialist Bulgaria as the country steps into the European Union.
