Filmmaker Bruno Lazaro follows the traces of his father, the Spanish poet Jesús López Pacheco, who went into exile in Canada in 1968. His journeys and discoveries in the family archive become intertwined with a screenplay about a Canadian volunteer in the Spanish Civil War.
