Jake is best known for directing comedies such as Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007), Bad Teacher (2011) and Sex Tape (2014). He is also known for his collaborations with actor Dwayne Johnson in action-comedies such as Red One (2024) and the Jumanji reboot trilogy (2017–26).
