Amin Novruzov was born in the village of Guzdek, Azerbaijan SSR, USSR. He studied at the American Economics Department of the National University of America, studying under V. Yusov (1978-1983). Since 1983, he has worked as a director of photography at the Azerbaijanfilm studio. He is an Honored Artist.
