Zemeckis-fest “A laugh can be a very powerful thing. Why, sometimes in life, it's the only weapon we have.” What a movie. Is there anything else even remotely like this? People constantly talk about how “xyz” couldn’t be made today. But here it is, actually, absolutely true. The amount of detail, love, and effort on witness here is breathtaking.  I suppose there’s no point in going on. If you’ve seen this movie, you know how incredible it is. If you haven’t seen it… what are you waiting for? Do yourself a favor and watch one of the greatest movies ever made.  With his strength at the set-up/pay-off, Zemeckis is definitely well suited for a detective film, and combined with his penchant for quirkiness and the talent of Richard Williams, he has made one of the best and made it his way. And just like Back to the Future, I notice new details every time.  How long can this run last?
