wow, ewan mcgregor is so good in this. that american accent is… questionable at best, but his performance more than makes up for it! the film is visually lush and musically electric, and it carries this infectious sense of curiosity and playfulness throughout. sure, the story is messy and a bit self-indulgent, like a glam rock fever dream stitched together from fanfiction, but somehow that chaos works in its favor. it ends up feeling like a beautiful, deliberate mess. stylish, bold, and oddly charming!
