What an ethereal dream of a movie. The kind of thing that makes me wish I was smarter. I guess there are mysteries you can’t solve. Maybe there are things we need to believe in to justify the insanity of the world and make sense of it all. Everyone wants to unravel the mysteries of the universe and be special. But we aren’t. We are all just making the best out of a bad situation. There’s nothing we can do about it, so we might as well enjoy it. Can we let go of the dream and face the music? And does reality really matter at all? what does it mean to be real? To be serious? What’s wrong with joy? What’s wrong with trying to be happy? Maybe the world is too grim for films like this. We are so far removed from the isolated world from before the end of the world. Now it’s us or them. Maybe this is all drivel. Or maybe this is the most important film of all time. Or maybe it’s just a good time. It’s 2:10 am. I need to sleep.
