Been in my watchlist for over years, but this was high time to watch it as fast and closer to the release of odyssey as possible, so it could decrease the weight of nolan's complexities while watching the movie and i can focus more on symbolisms... now let's come to movie's review; I was not expecting movie to be more focused on human dynamics than battles, and they ticked boxes & very well too. I was connected to the characters if it was Achilles or Hector and their arcs but i think for some characters it was less screen time like for Odysseus; yeah they shown he was good with tactics but it was just for who have known before movie, and many more characters were less portrayed. It was not a Achilles movies even i liked his character but from i know, they had more elements to build the character relationships... I am just little mad over the brighter the scale could have been if they focused equally but the few relationships they shown and grounded they made it feel is in itself is appreciable. i was emotionally connect to all the main leads, their perspective were definitely accurate to show the sufferings of war beside focusing mostly on battles. really liked Briseis and Achilles chemistry!! For the mix of massive and grounded experience, i give 7.5 out of 10.
