Train Dreams. One of the Oscar Nominees this year, but the question is, do I agree. Short answer, no. Even tho this film was well made the story was great, it was just very slow, there were some intense parts (kinda) but besides that this film was very slow. The filming locations and cinematography of this film were fantastic and I especially like the 4:3 aspect ratio as it’s very unique and makes it have a certain feeling. Now by all means I’m not calling this a bad film, if you like slow drama films this to you might be the best film you’ve ever seen, but to me, that’s not the style of genre I really like.
