Thor: Ragnarok2017

This is honestly what I want from a superhero movie. It's goofy, colorful, and fun yet exciting. I really liked the humor and the more laid-back tone as I felt that it suits the movie very well. I also love how colorful and flavorful this movie is. Compared to how blandly shot and lacking in creating some of the MCU movies are, this movie's bright visuals and overall personality are a huge breath of fresh air. I also really like the characters in this movie. Thor is just as likable and fun as always, Loki gets a lot of fun moments and I think he gets a pretty good send off for his character(Tbf I have no idea what happens to him later) Hulk/Banner in this might be my favorite he's been in this movie. I feel like this is one of the first movies where he gets to just be goofy-ass hulk for a while which is cool. Tessa Thompson is very hot and cool, Jeff Goldblum is a lot of fun, and I liked that rock guy a lot too. The ending also is unique and original and while I wasn't personally very affected by the destruction of Asgard, I will respect them for doing something original. MY only real issue is that I am mixed on Hella, but more on the negative side. I think she is actually very threatening, but her motivation feels confused and underdeveloped, and the fact that she's thor's sister really feels forced to me. They didn't flesh out her relationship with Thor or Loki at all, so the fact that she is their sister doesn't add anything in the plot. But yeah this movie is a blast and anyone that says otherwise is a fucking nerd sorry.
