The Walk2015

Zemeckis-fest Yeah, I’m not in love with this. It’s an interesting story, but I don’t know if it’s interesting enough for a two-hour movie. You know what he’s planning to do the whole movie, and then he does it. Is it perfectly easy? Perhaps not, but everything does work out in a fairly uninteresting way. Maybe it’s not that interesting of a story. I think just the act of tightrope walking between the twin towers is more exciting than the journey getting there. I think Zemeckis tries to make it entertaining, but it’s just not all there. Maybe it’s just too true to real life?  It’s not even that bad, but I think this is the first Zemeckis movie I just don’t care to watch again.  OK, Zemeckis has finally let me down. But only slightly. He can still redeem himself.
