A twisted Cinderella with all the great absurdity plus top tier disgust (Body horror) and a super focused storytelling/pacing right from the beginning. Elvira’s character build up was the highlight for me. I went in blind, just knowing it was a twisted take on Cinderella but I didn’t know it would reach a place that it finally reached towards the end. So bloody well done and the thumping score is as over-ambitious and driven as the lead character. Lea Myren was phenomenal. What a great watch this was. Best one so far in the Halloween week.
