The Serpent and the Rainbow1988

I feel it does a good job showcasing a culture that is merely different and not inherently evil. Only evil when abused by men with evil intent. Dennis is a man out of his element, and it felt like there was going to be some Lovecraftian reveal, and while those elements are there, it never goes fully cosmic. I enjoyed this, but I don’t see much reason in watching it again. Great visuals, and you can’t help but love Bill Pullman in everything.
