“Myself, I feel very safe.” I like this movie more and more every time I see it. I just love everything about it. I still think that it’s the closest a Wes Anderson movie has felt to The Grand Budapest. Perhaps not as moving but just as entertaining and beautiful. Incredible additions to the cast alongside old favorites. I think for me this is his most rewatchable. This has all the best charm of an Anderson film without the weight of the heavier films, making it perfect for just throwing on. So while there is a big gap between this and The Grand Budapest, it still is my second favorite Wes Anderson movie.
