The King On Main Street
King Serge IV of Molvania travels to Manhattan to conduct official business with businessman Arthur Trent. Instead of tending straight to business, the king escapes to Coney Island, where he meets Gladys Humphreys and John Rockland. Unaware that he is a monarch, John invites the king to stay at his home in Little Falls, New Jersey. The king falls deeply in love with Gladys. However, Trent catches them in a compromising situation and uses it to blackmail the king into finalizing their business deal. Defeated by the ultimatum, the king leaves the United States and Gladys behind for good.
