I was at a college fair once and I went up to the New York Film Academy booth and struck up a conversation with the representative there. He was telling me all about the school and all cameras they have. All of the ones that shoot 35mm & 70 mm and the phenomenal Red cameras. He said "we have cameras that are eight times the quality than that of the cameras used for the Hobbit." Then I looked him dead in the eye and said, "you know it's not that hard to shoot in quality eight times of that of a GoPro camera." A moment of silence fell between us. We then chuckled and that burst into and fit of laughter. After that, another wave of silence crept over us. This silence was to remember what could have been of The Hobbit films. After that, we looked each other in the eye and both of us shed a tear. With trembling hands, he handed me the school's card and said "you are welcome here anytime my friend." I nodded and took his card. A sigh befell us both and we held each other's gaze for the last time. While walking away, I looked back. I reckon he did too at some other time. All I know is, I know who my brethren are. And that the Barrel scene sucks ass! My God Peter what were you thinking?!?!?
