This movie pulls you deep into a love story that breaks your heart slowly and stays with you. Hazel and Gus meet at a support group and everything changes. Two sick kids who find something real in each other. Their jokes their late night talks their trip to see the writer they love. It all feels so alive even when the world is closing in. You get attached to them fast. You want them to have more time. You root for their little forever. But the sickness does not care. The pain comes quiet and then all at once. Watching them fight and laugh and cry together makes your chest tight. I felt every goodbye every okay and every moment they tried to hold on. It hurts because it feels true. Love does not fix everything but it makes the hard days worth something. This story got under my skin. It made me think about how short life can be and how much we still need each other. I cried more than once and I would watch it again just to feel it all over. Beautiful and heavy in the best way. It reminds you that some connections leave marks forever.
