I’ve never been scared of personally getting possessed by a demon but I do fear this happening to someone I share a room with. I’ve gone through a lot of roommates, most likely due to my demon interrogations.  My wife seems cool with it though.   Most of the books suggest a complete possession takes months if not years.  Quarterly demon interrogations ensure that your loved ones are not possessed.  And if they are, you can try to nip it in the bud before they get bad skin like Regan.
