fort night every fortnight About wanting to feel things and express feelings. It’s so funny! You’ll think it won’t come back to an earlier joke and then it adds another layer to it in a silly way. So great at exploring the awkwardness of interaction. This is Joel Haver's only scripted feature film so it does miss something from his scrappier, more “natural” projects. The audio for the dialogue is extremely clean, which sometimes felt like dialogue wasn’t coming from any particular space. But even for a more planned, structured project, there’s a lot of truth and humanity here! Inspiring!
