Spaceship Earth2020

I am shocked, numb and totally blown away by this documentary film. I can’t believe my eyes seeing just 3.1/5 average on Letterboxd. It’s so so less for a film that is madly ambitious and so so freaking important for the world we live in.  Mad theatre group having a vision of creating an enclosed biosphere 2, an ecosystem just like an earth and staying there for 2 years. It’s an experiment that really could change the way we see our world. It of course did as shown in the film but sadly went into wrong hands who cared more about money than thinking about serious climate change that could affect our world, some of the experiments that could have saved the future of our earth. This experiment is an example of how we on earth are abusing the world in so many ways. I myself didn’t think about it a lot but this particular film should really open everyone’s eyes. Whether the group of scientists inside that biosphere 2 cheated or not is a different thing. But consequences of abusing our own world was shown in the form of the second world of biosphere.  “It’s easy to say “Your actions don’t count”, but they do count”  One of the best documentaries of all time that surely doesn’t deserve to get anything less than 4 stars.
