the 12th house in astrology is the house of isolation, abandonment, mental health, the blind spot, confinement,metakosmios, grief, loss, psychiatric institutions, as well as self-undoing or that which leads us astray... when you are isolated and come across parts of you that you do not like, how do you deal with it? how do you deal with the Simon part of you? is it healthy to repress it? how do you release it? Session 9, for me, embodied the 12th house so well. A horror that could be found within all of us. And that is partly what makes this film even scarier... The fact that you might find yourself in the exact same position. Stay sane buddies.
