Rogue One: A Star Wars Story2016

As much as the franchise is called Star Wars this is the only film that feels like an actual war movie. It feels modern and timeless and is without a doubt the best and most comprehensible Star Wars film of the modern era. Maybe it’s not as strong as the andor series but that’s only because the series has two seasons to flesh out its characters and themes where the film has only just over 2 hrs. And I still think it does a pretty bang up job. I feel it’s the most complex look at the rebellion beyond it being a simple faction for good and highlights the bad things people will justify for the greater good.  Also this movie looks so damn good. So many incredible moments. The Death Star introduction, blowing up jedha and scarif and every scene with Darth Vader. Just amazing. I love this movie and nothing is going to change that.
