“𝕷𝖊𝖙 𝖚𝖘 𝖙𝖔'𝖙 𝖕𝖊𝖑𝖑-𝖒𝖊𝖑𝖑, 𝖎𝖋 𝖓𝖔𝖙 𝖙𝖔 𝖍𝖊𝖆𝖛𝖊𝖓, 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖓 𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖎𝖓 𝖍𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖙𝖔 𝖍𝖊𝖑𝖑.” A film I’ve wanted to watch for ages. I don’t believe I have loved any Shakespeare adaptation or really any work by the Bard himself. I have seen a few films and read some choice passages. And enjoy the idea of his words better than the execution. I crave entertainment. This seemed to me the story I would enjoy and the form I would enjoy it most. A man who craves power over all else and gets everything he wants. And pays for it. I want to say that this is not only a film I have enjoyed but one too that I have loved. There is something about these stories. Complex men on the surface but inside are quite simple. They crave connection. Through blood, violence, and power and sometimes with love, we yearn to bond to others. To make some sense of everything even if it makes no sense to anyone else. “𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙵𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝: 𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚍𝚘𝚎𝚜 𝚒𝚝 𝚖𝚎𝚊𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚍𝚘𝚎𝚜 𝚒𝚝 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖? 𝙰𝚗 𝙴𝚜𝚜𝚊𝚢: 𝙷𝚘𝚖𝚘𝚜𝚊𝚙𝚒𝚎𝚗. 𝙰 𝚖𝚊𝚗. 𝙷𝚎 𝚒𝚜 𝚊𝚕𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚞𝚗𝚒𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚎.
