Quantum of Solace2008

“Basil Exposition told me this will be boring But Jesus, man! Even my mojo's snoring!” While this is very clearly Casino Royale Pt. 2 and only works with the explicit context of that film, there is so much about this movie that I prefer over that film. This, for one, feels like a real spy movie in a way that so many others don’t.  This is James Bond’s Chinatown, which is funny because A View To A Kill is literally Chinatown. But it is not perfect and it doesn’t really work unless you watch it with Casino Royale back-to-back. Still, there are great action sequences and thematic moments and payoffs.  I think both of these are really good, but I’m not throwing them on outside of a marathon. James Bond Ranked
