Compte tenu du pitch de départ, je m'attendais à adorer ce film. J'apprécie généralement beaucoup les films dingues. La plupart de mes œuvres favorites sont de cet acabit, après tout. ... Eh, bien, par où commencer ?... Je me suis beaucoup ennuyée, j'ai trouvé l'écriture relativement médiocre (en particulier celle des personnages), et j'ai eu hâte que cela se termine. Quelques scènes sympathiques, notamment au début, mais rien de vraiment intéressant hormis cela. Pour le jeu d'acteur, je n'ai pas grand-chose à redire, excepté en ce qui concerne celui de l'acteur qui interprète le "méchant" : j'ignore quels termes employer, mais les premiers qui me viennent à l'esprit sont "cliché", "insupportable", et "surjoué". C'est ce film que l'on m'a vendu comme "Le film de l'année" ? Il faut que je dise aux gens d'arrêter de me conseiller des films. Je suis déçue 99.9% du temps. Given the premise, I expected to really enjoy this film. I tend to have a soft spot for wacky movies. That's the kind of film most of my favorites are, after all. ... Well, where to start?... It was very boring, I found the writing to be relatively mediocre (especially the character development), and I was eager for the film to end. There were a few decent scenes, especially at the beginning, but other than that, there was nothing really compelling. As for the acting, I don’t have much to complain about, aside from the actor playing the “villain”: I’m not sure which words to use, but the first ones that come to mind are “cliché,” “unbearable,” and “over-the-top” . Is this the film that was touted to me as the “film of the year”? I need to tell people to stop recommending movies to me. I’m disappointed 99.9% of the time.
