Number Two1975

This is the first film I watched of Legendary French director Jean-Luc Godard and I will have to say that it’s the most experimental film I have ever watched. Even if you check the genre at many websites, they would have mentioned “Experimental” as a genre. Two images are shown on a tv screen, sometimes similar meaning of the two different scenes but sometimes contradicting and sometimes ambiguous. It’s a total study on how (Married couples) men take sexual rights over women and degrade women treating them like a mere place for men for their own pleasures and controlling their body. Also shows how this degrading starts at an early age for a girl. Basically film is asking all the women to liberate themselves from all these atrocities by men (treating their wives as a robot) and call for sexual equality or equality in everything.
