What really stood out to me is how much experimentation is happening in almost every frame. The dozen novel filmmaking techniques in this blow my mind. From the tints used to depict different times of night and day to the use of speed ramps to show Orlok as an anomaly of a freak creature. That uncanny stop-motion movement must've had kids back then have some really rough nights. Great music, great atmosphere, questionable bald cap.
