Where to begin! What a great new York movie. In fact one of the first speaking lines is "it's gonna be another god damn new York kinda day." This movie is one big chase. It's hard not to compare it to One Battle After Another. James Brolin, bruised and battered races through the deuce and the projects to find his missing daughter. In a New York fashion, there's a new wacky character helping Brolin along the way with the Puerto Rican taxi driver being my personal favorite. But seriously, you get a complete tour of new York in 100 minutes. There's rat infestations, gridlock, hot dog stands and street walkers throughout. Well paced and structured. And man does brolin look tough. Incredible physical.performance. as a movie buff instead of a sporto, that's high praise When the little girl told the kidnapped she was on a diet and he responded she's great the way she is, I teared up. He ruined it later tho
