Neerja • (2016) A very solid watch that doesn’t feel cliché or like something you've seen before. The way the personal life of the lead is integrated with the situation through editing is brilliant. This is Sonam Kapoor’s best work to date—I don’t know why she left acting, even though she had a lot of potential. She did an excellent job, as always. I like how she immerses herself in the character and gives it her all.But since this is an analysis, here are some moments where the rhythm breaks: • Sometimes, Sonam Kapoor’s voice feels false or badly dubbed. • The boyfriend's character is quite weak as the story progresses. • There are moments of poor camerawork where it’s hard to focus on anything.
