En dépit de certaines longueurs (ce qui est un risque lorsqu'un film dure plus de deux heures), Durante la tormenta est une œuvre largement regardable. Le concept est excellent, mais les longueurs que j'évoquais le font s'essouffler bien avant la fin du film. Pour autant, on passe un moment relativement sympathique devant ce long-métrage, porté par des acteurs talentueux, tels que le formidable Javier Gutierrez (en tout honnêteté, c'est en premier lieu pour sa présence au casting que j'ai vu Durante la tormenta, Gutierrez comptant parmi mes acteurs favoris). Le film n'est ni excellent, ni mauvais, ni même tiède : il se regarde sans trop d'efforts et les premières minutes captivent suffisamment le public pour avoir envie de rester jusqu'à la scène finale. Ce qui n'est déjà pas mal. Despite the occasional pacing issues (which are bound to happen when a film exceeds two hours), Durante la tormenta is a pretty decent viewing experience. The premise is brilliant, but the aforementioned flaws cause the film to lose steam well before the end. Nevertheless, you’ll have a reasonably enjoyable time watching this film, driven by talented actors such as the remarkable Javier Gutierrez (in all honesty, it was primarily because of his involvement in the cast that I watched Durante la tormenta; Gutierrez ranks among my favorite actors). The film is neither excellent nor bad, nor even lukewarm: it’s effortless to watch, and the opening minutes captivate the audience enough to make them want to stick around until the final scene. Which isn’t bad at all.
