Messengers 2: The Scarecrow2009

Not the worst movie I’ve ever seen, but it has absolutely zero of the sauce of the first movie. Though to call this sequel seems really disingenuous, as the only similarities seem entirely coincidental. Like someone wrote a really similar story and then heard about the messengers and was like, “That sounds like my movie. I’m gonna just say it was a sequel, and that was the plan the whole time.” Norman Reedus is fine. Everybody is fine. This movie is passable as a film. I didn’t have a bad time, but I also didn’t get anything out of it.
