I want to start this off by saying I like Chris Pratt. He has some great movies and is really overhated. However, I don’t know if this was the role to pick up at this specific time. Playing an asshole deadbeat cop in 2026 is not the move I would have made.  Overall, this is pretty meh. Not the worst thing I’ve ever seen but just pretty bland and stupid. Chris Pratt’s character sucks, which is supposed to make him look guilty but also just doesn’t make him sympathetic at all.  This is a streaming movie that got released to theatres. Trying to plus the screen life genre, but it doesn’t really work. I will say I would forget that Chris Pratt wasn’t actually looking at anything, so I guess his eye acting was pretty good.  There is a final twist that’s kind of not necessary but I guess makes this somewhat more thought-provoking, making me ponder the idea of a thought about what this movie has to say about something. I think with a stronger ending, it could have made everything work a lot better, but it’s just kind of ends with a pthhhht.  The AI is written so inconsistently, which I guess is supposed to be “the point,” but I think it’s to hide and excuse shitty writing and a shitty plot.  There is a so bad it’s good quality to this, and I did in fact “lol,” so it’s not completely worthless as a movie.  The fact of the matter is Minority Report did this idea 1000 times better, and it did it 20 years ago. And with Tom Cruise.
