“Everyone is born, but not everyone is born the same. Some will grow to be butchers, or bakers, or candlestick makers. Some will only be really good at making Jell-O salad. One way or another, though, every human being is unique, for better or for worse.” I watched this one as a kid, but I haven’t seen it in a long time. It is so wonderful and sweet. When you are young, the world can feel so magical. I certainly felt that way. It feels now like so much magic has been lost, and the very thing I use to write this review and that you use to read it is directly, specifically responsible. The prevailing feeling I have now is more often than not hopelessness. Because it feels like we are losing every good thing we have gained throughout the entire course of history. And it is not due to negligence but an uncontrollable evil we have no chance to fight against. There is no magic anymore. For any of us. Anyways, I liked when they played the Ice Age song.
