oof, the film is not exactly a fun watch, but wow does it leave an impression. super creepy and genuinely bone chilling. the editing is kind of odd, but somehow it totally works. there were moments that felt absurdly comedic, yet it stayed deadly serious at the same time. such a weird and fascinating take on vampirism, and honestly an excellent rethinking of the whole myth. unsettling in the best way.
