Vikram’s performance in this much much greater than the film that seriously lacks any novelty. There are some directors who are redefining gangster drama even with all the familiarities but Karthik chose to be on an exhaustingly familiar base of a gangster drama that we have seen 1000 times. It doesn’t do much with it. Every Twist was super generic. I knew what was going to happen in them. This had massive scope to be something like the recently watched brilliant Kannada gangster drama - “Garuda Gamana Vrishaba Vahana”. Because philosophically this had immense scope. Could have played in a better way when it comes to writing instead of inserting same old formulaic stuffs. In the end disappointing movie but Vikram’s amazing comeback gets this a plus marks.
