Leo2023

Have always said there are good generic and bad generic films. Leo turned out to be a good & cool generic entertainer. Mediocre flashback in the second half ruined the slick-ness of present story that was setup. It does pick up in the end in a known Loki way.  Only thing Lokesh should focus on is not to forget his craft, just to create his Loki universe. I think he’s under pressure of connecting these and by doing that he’s losing that grip in his writing. Leo had every opportunity to be as great as Vikram but it just couldn’t. But technically it’s way cooler and in the end I prefer this universe over YRF spy universe any day. At least Loki is trying something new with few action sequences like that graphic novel-ish chase sequence, crazy single shot drone sequence, also those sudden zoom in and zoom out (Guy Ritchie like) camera tricks in the climax action was very entertaining to watch. Thats why I am totally fine with this universe. Something Loki cooks that feels good to digest even if generic and not as perfect as his previous films in this universe.  PS - Maanagaram still remains his best film undoubtedly
