"𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙖𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧. 𝙄𝙩'𝙨 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛" First introduction to Yasujirō Ozu. I was purely astonished and touched by the entirety of the film itself. Everything that encompasses the nature of reality, the notion of life, and the relationships between people, especially close-knit loved ones, I very much think that compared to any other drama films I watched, this was the most simplistic, although profoundly deep and aesthetically pleasing.
