Late Night with the Devil2024

What would otherwise be a fun and chill horror movie is ruined by the unnecessary use of AI. Every time those cards come on I am reminded of an extremely lazy choice made from a production team that seemed to put a lot of effort in every other aspect. Every other aspect seems authentic and very enjoyable. Why did they do this. I can only assume it came down to time restraints or perhaps miscommunication. But I personally know that AI  can create better “art” than is present in this movie. It would be much better if it was completely cut from the movie, or changed in post now that it’s been released. As to the other aspects of the movie. I find it a very fun campy romp perfect for a Halloween night. The ending is definitely the highlight of the movie.  David damalchian gives a great performance and the scene with the worms has fantastic practical effects.  Overall this is a pretty fun movie that is held back by something that was ultimately very avoidable.
