Kinds of Kindness2024

If “Poor things” was Yorgos saying “See, I can go mainstream but in my own twisted way”, then “Kinds of kindness” is like Yorgos saying “I can also get back to something that is closer to my older films”. And I absolutely love both kinds of Yorgos because this mad genius has always quenched my thirst whenever I wanted something twisted and #MyShit certified stuff.  This anthology film had everything that made Yorgos what he’s now - Insanely original, brilliantly twisted even at times it gets frustratingly twisted, it’s still such a thrill to experience for someone like me who loves when a film goes to certain unexpected terrain. Not everything works but Yorgos never allowed me to relax. My brain never stopped working throughout the film’s duration. I was constantly pumped. All 3 different films had a satisfying ending and so well done with great casting and I don’t have to name them because they were all soooo good. Though I will mention my fav out of all - Jesse Plemons.  My rankings of 3 stories -  1) “Death of R.M.F.” 2) “R.M.F. eats a sandwich” 3) “R.M.F is flying”
