After his brilliance in first two films with the genius Fahad Faasil, it is well known what this combo can do together. Joji I think is Dileesh’s most darkest story out of all the 3 he directed as it’s based on Shakespeare’s legendary tragedy Macbeth. With this kinda dark story, Dileesh achieved the subtlety in this too adding his own signature dark humour that we know from his previous films, shooting it in a way that is so detailed which is focused on every character and their motives plus effective BGM by Justin Varghese. Subtlety and immense realism in one of the most darkest story from Shakespeare is a massive achievement. Then there’s a freshness to the overall film even if the Macbeth story is well known to many of us. Dileesh set this period story in modern world rich family which in itself a great achievement.  Next Credit should again go to Fahad for being the most delightful, smart yet stubbornly greedy guy ever. Yet again he says a lot about his cruel character with the smallest of details in the body language. Just observe him and his body language in one of my favourite scenes where he’s fishing in the pond and people far away calling him as his father has just died. Look at the way he reacts in that scene - no remorse of any sorts whether in his body language or in his eyes. There’s also a faint smile on his face and he’s being very careful not to give it out to others what he just did.  He doesn’t need to overdo it and he did exactly that. This is truly remarkable performance. If I would have to rate all their 3 films together, I would still put Thondimuthalum driksakshiyum on top. But that’s not the important point here. The most important point here is India has got one of the best director-actor Jodi who are extremely consistent in giving great films every time. I can easily trust them not disappointing me in future.  3 IN A ROW - Dileesh and Fahad
