Godzilla Minus One2023

Finally a Godzilla movie that is not “Fast and furious” version of Godzilla or it’s treated as some superhero film like the recent below average American Monsterverse films.  This Japanese one is purely a story driven Godzilla film that has the most important thing that makes this more successful is HEART - Of course visual effects and some of the detailings in mission planning are stunning. Whatever the recent Godzilla films lacked, this did it masterfully. Character arc, striking the balance between a spectacle and emotional story plus keeping a monster as a monster finally, if you know what I mean. These things for sure made this the best Godzilla film ever for me (At least post 2000, if I recall properly).
