Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana2021

Raj B Shetty (Writer, Actor and director) took the generic and predictable gangster tropes and made one hell of a masterpiece movie with lot of subtexts including the names of the characters and terrifyingly beautiful framing of so many shots. The world is not new. It’s mostly seen before but the writing, character arcs and breathtaking performances by the leads made this a masterpiece. Even the scenes of attacking or murdering people is been handled brilliantly and whatever happens has a meaning to it. It’s not rushed and it takes time to build. Even the slow mo shots are way too much yet I didn’t get bored of it because right from the slow mo scene No 1, it had deeper meaning to it and explained the character that we are being introduced. Even the climax, which again might be predictable, but there was one small detail that would have been missed if I didn’t care to focus on. That was wow and I am sure you too have similar reaction. It’s a gem of a call back to the earlier scene. What a writing.  Inciting incidents are numerous in this and the bloody consequences is what defines this movie in brief and undoubtedly one of the best Indian films of 2021.
