A fun action/slasher (there's even a kill stolen from Mortal Kombat) that only works with Hartnett's performance. Man, he's great in this movie. I also appreciate the dummies who said this is the new John Wick. Nah, it's nothing like John Wick ... For starters, it's a straight comedy and the camera pulls out at the end to reveal all the mythology you need. My biggest gripe is the narrative structure. It opened with the big climatic battle and cut to "12 hours earlier.". You worried we're gonna leave bro? The action is nonstop
