did i understand where the movie was going ? no, did i enjoy every second of it ? absolutely. Fear and Loathing in las vegas is a movie that doesn't take a second to stop, every shot is overloaded with anything it gets its hands on; endless sensless narrations, monkeys and spinning tables, drowned out hotel rooms, a tobey maguire, drugs in all shapes and forms, and colors, so many bright colors that it would hurt your eyes. all of that coupled to a camera that doesn't stop nor alligns itself, i got dizzy watching it and i'll do it again. chaos chaos and chaos captured with flair and style by one of my new fav directores Terry Gilliam and elevated by two imbecile performances from Jhonny Depp and Benicio del Torro who bounce off each other extremely well.
