My mom is the bravest person I know. She can't go on I-76 without her heart rate rising above 120, and she can't go down the escalators at the mall, but that isn't bravery. Bravery is getting out of an abusive relationship. Bravery is moving to another state entirely. Bravery is divorce. Bravery is changing your religion. Bravery is changing your entire life from age 40 to 41. Bravery is being there for me and my sister, always. I don't think I could ever live even half the life she's paved for herself, but I just hope one day I can be as brave as her
