Beautifully filmed, but the cheesy anthropomorphism in service of a (noble) animal rights message just didn’t land with me. I’m kind of amazed it was named as best film of the year by one of the NYT critics.  Still glad I watched it for the luscious camera work and an interesting view of day to day life in modern day Poland.
