Eeb Allay Ooo!2020

“Because they are treated as gods, they are given food, they are corrupted, they are… made to think that they don’t need to forage anymore. So they become bold… They start demanding. Then the gods become pests.” I am reading this again and again. WHAT A MOVIE - “Eeb Allay Ooo!”   Just when this is said in that documentary they watch in the beginning, I was totally into the film because I know this particular thing they said has got some significance or it plays as a huge metaphor for the powerful people who run the system and the characters we come across in the film. Powerful and entertaining satire. Also There’s this “sound” pattern that I observed. Like Anjani making sounds so that he can scare away the monkeys.  Then when his neighbor asks “How do you scare away the monkeys?” Anjani replies “It depends on them. I make sounds”  Similarly in the train we all hear the announcements like “Don’t spit”, “If men get into the reserved compartment which is for Women, will be a punishable offence”. It is also a sound that comes through the speakers. It all depends on us whether we take that announcement seriously or not.  Same way system reacts. It depends totally on them how this complicated (Corrupt) system take the struggling voices (Sounds) of these poor labourers and not allowing them to enter into an insane mindset that ruins their lives.
