Diary of a Wimpy Kid2021

This doesn’t have a soul. The characters eyes look empty, like there is no life behind them. The places feel uninhabited, as if they actually had to pay extras to be in the school. The mom's lines sound like they were recorded through a bad skype call.  Missed potential that all characters are drawn in the style of the book but they don’t use it to represent Greg's view of them! Feels unfinished. Not much heart or creativity. I'd rather rewatch Rodrick Rules (2011) Zoo-wee-mama!
