Amar, a young man from Kuala Lumpur, is also in Terengganu handling a construction project belonging to his father's company, Dato Hashim. In one incident, Amar's car hits Mawar's car and from that event onwards they begin to be friends. The meeting plants the seed of love in Amar's heart for Mawardah. However, before love can be expressed, Mawardah is married to Hakim, the son of a close friend of Mawardah's late mother, without realizing that this man is Amar's biological brother. The marriage disappoints Amar and he then leaves for a neighbouring country. In fact, Mawardah was never informed that Hakim already had a previous wife, Fatin. Hakim and Fatin's marriage abroad was opposed by Hakim's family.
