Dhurandhar: The Revenge2026

Greatest thing about Aditya Dhar is, even when the film is amped up 100X in part 2, he doesn’t forget his craft. Nothing is done without a reason. All the characters are juiced out so brilliantly from part 1 that some of the contrivances in the plot of part 2 were still believable and thrilling. Even when an action scene goes a bit overboard, you believe the emotions of the character and execution was top notch throughout. Confined space hand to hand slaps harder. Camera and editing work - full marks. This is Aditya Dhar not losing his craft. Any careless director would have converted this into pure shitty mass-level nonsense. Again proved that a well executed art/craft has got power to cover the flaws if any. No movie is perfect, but I will have to give it to Aditya Dhar for not allowing me to get distracted for nearly 4 hours. It’s not easy to hold the attention like this. Such is the world he has created that I think I would have sat for another 3 hours (Not a joke). Seriously he’s one of the major directors now in my eyes after nailing it for the 3rd time in a row. Ranveer’s best performance according to me. Grounded yet explosive performance. Yet again all the other supporting characters were so good and important for the plot. And the ending is icing on the cake - so moving.  Dolby Cinema experience elevated the film even more. Crisp 4K Dolby Vision quality with one of the best sound systems in a theatre. Shashwat’s music hit me harder than ever. Must watch in Dolby cinema if you can.
